U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Buffalo have been actively involved in removing several violent criminal aliens from the United States, aligning with the president's "worst first" policy. The operation took place between July 11 and July 17.

James T. Bausch, acting Deputy Field Office Director for ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations in Buffalo, expressed his pride in the officers' dedication to public safety despite facing increased assaults. “I’m extraordinarily proud of our officers who, despite a record increase in assaults against them, continue to selflessly dedicate themselves to protecting public safety and national security,” he stated. “These violent criminals can no longer pose a threat to anyone in our country.”

The individuals removed include Jesus Flores-Flores from Mexico, convicted of manslaughter and assault; Gerber Rosil-Galdamez from Guatemala, convicted of rape; Ivan Fidencio Juarez-Rivera from Mexico with multiple convictions including domestic violence; Cristian Josue Pena-Contreras from Honduras with numerous theft-related convictions; Jostin Javier Cabrera-Ruiz from Ecuador facing charges including robbery; and Marlon Ganesh Beerbhajan from Guyana with pending charges for unlawful imprisonment.
