U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have conducted a series of arrests targeting criminal illegal aliens with serious prior convictions across the nation. The recent enforcement actions resulted in the detention of individuals charged with offenses such as child rape, arson, aggravated assault, and human smuggling.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin commented on the operations, stating, "Yesterday, ICE arrested pedophiles, arsonists, and human smugglers. Thanks to President Trump and Secretary Noem, these dirtbags are off our streets." She further noted that ICE law enforcement is taking steps that some politicians are not willing to take in order to protect American citizens.
Among those apprehended was Jacobo Argueta-Fuentes from El Salvador. Arrested by ICE Buffalo, Argueta-Fuentes has been convicted of several sex crimes against children in Suffolk County, New York. Other notable arrests include Rafael Manriquez-Mancia from Mexico by ICE Houston for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; Abraham Eladio Pineda-Rocha also from Mexico by ICE New Orleans for alien smuggling; Alfonso Lopez-Cabrera from Mexico by ICE Los Angeles for lewd acts with a child under 14; and Wahota Allassane Ouattara from Ivory Coast by ICE Buffalo for arson.
These actions underscore ICE's ongoing mission to enforce immigration laws and remove violent offenders from American communities. The public is encouraged to report any crimes or suspicious activities via the ICE tip line or their website.
