Clinton J. Johnson U.S. Attorney | U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma
A Tulsa man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the production of child pornography, as announced by U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson. Gregory Miller, aged 56, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge John F. Heil, III. The sentence includes 360 months of imprisonment, followed by a lifetime of supervised release, and a $15,000 fine. Additionally, Miller is prohibited from having any contact with the victim and will be required to register as a sex offender upon his release.
The case originated in February 2024 when law enforcement executed a search warrant at Miller's home and confiscated various electronic devices. The investigation uncovered images and videos depicting an eight-year-old child known to Miller in sexually explicit poses. These materials were found to have been taken at Miller’s residence.
Miller will remain in custody until he is transferred to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.
The investigation was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations and the Tulsa Police Department, while Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ashley Robert and Christopher J. Nassar handled the prosecution.
This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse. This project utilizes federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children online while also working to identify and rescue victims.
