Bogalusa man sentenced for drug violations by federal court

Acting United States Attorney Michael M. Simpson announced that Henry Jermaine Miller, 41, of Bogalusa, Louisiana, has been sentenced to 75 months in prison. The sentence includes three years of supervised release and a mandatory $100 special assessment fee. This follows Miller's guilty plea to two counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin and methamphetamine.

Court documents revealed that Miller conspired with others in the Bogalusa area from 2021 through 2023 to distribute various drugs including methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl.

Simpson commended the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bogalusa Police Department for their efforts. Assistant United States Attorney Stuart Theriot of the Narcotics Unit prosecuted the case.
