U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Philadelphia has removed Olvin Mauricio Martinez Coto, a Honduran national wanted in his home country for aggravated femicide, attempted homicide, and forcible entry to a home. The removal took place on July 23.
“Foreign fugitives will not find safe haven in the United States, we will make sure of it,” said ERO Philadelphia acting Field Office Director Brian McShane. “This collaborative effort between multiple ERO Offices and federal partners epitomizes our efforts to keep the homeland safe and secure from foreign threats.”
Martinez Coto had entered the United States at an unknown time and location without being inspected by immigration officials. He was first issued an expedited removal order by U.S. Border Patrol on July 18, 2007, and was removed to Honduras by ERO San Antonio on July 30, 2007.
He was arrested again by Border Patrol agents on February 27, 2019. His prior order of removal was reinstated, leading to another removal to Honduras by ERO San Antonio on March 22, 2019.
Despite these actions, Martinez Coto reentered the U.S. again without inspection or parole at an undetermined time and place. On July 1, 2025, he was arrested in Westbury, New York through a joint operation involving ERO Long Island Fugitive Operations, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Following his arrest, ERO New York reinstated his previous order of removal.
