U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported the arrest of several individuals over the weekend who are described as criminal illegal aliens with convictions for serious offenses, including sexual assault, exploitation of minors, drug trafficking, and violent crimes.
“ICE law enforcement never stops—even on the weekends they are out on the streets removing the worst of the worst from our communities,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “From pedophiles to drug traffickers, ICE arrested these barbaric criminal illegal aliens this weekend. President Trump and Secretary Noem unleashed ICE to target the worst of the worst. If you come to our country and break our laws, you will face consequences.”
The agency provided details about those apprehended in different states:
- Feliciano Villarruel-Cabre, a 51-year-old from Mexico, was convicted of sexual assault in Austin, Texas.
- Vitaly Fedorov from Ukraine has convictions for burglary, drug possession, weapons violations, escape from custody, and fraud in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Ivan Zagada-Mendez from Mexico was convicted of sexual exploitation and exhibition of a minor in Aiken, South Carolina.
- Quintin Estrada-Soto from Honduras was convicted of assaulting a family member in Houston, Texas.
- Selvin Perez-Ramos from Honduras was convicted of assault in Baltimore County, Maryland.
- Pedro Mejia-Ventura from Honduras was convicted on three counts related to indecent liberties with a child in Johnston County, North Carolina.
- Juan Pablo Vargas-Contreras from Mexico was convicted for soliciting or enticing a minor for indecent purposes via telecommunications in Las Vegas.
- Grabiel Ermenegildo Salinas-Tituana from Ecuador was convicted of forcible touching in Suffolk County, New York.
- Isabel Funes-Reyes from Honduras was convicted for assault and battery against a police officer in Baltimore County.
- Alejandro Castellon-Plantillas from Mexico faced conviction for possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute in Boise, Idaho.
ICE stated that it continues its efforts to identify and remove individuals who violate immigration laws and commit violent or exploitative crimes within U.S. communities.
