On Friday, officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested several individuals described as some of the most serious criminal illegal aliens in the country. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported that those apprehended included individuals convicted of crimes such as sexual assault of a child, homicide by vehicle, lewd acts with a child, fentanyl trafficking, and assault.

“Every single day ICE law enforcement arrests vicious criminals from American communities. From pedophiles to drug traffickers, we are getting these depraved criminal illegal aliens OUT of our country,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “President Trump and Secretary Noem are calling on patriotic Americans who want to help remove the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from our country to apply to become at ICE officer at JOIN.ICE.GOV.”

The individuals arrested include Hilberto Velasquez-Ramirez from Guatemala, convicted for homicide by vehicle in Pottawattamie County, Iowa; Gilberto Castillo-Talavera, 29, from Honduras, convicted for sexual assault of a child in Travis County, Texas; Gustavo Jose Gonzalez-Recarey from Cuba, convicted for lewd and lascivious act with a child in Riverside, California; Jhan Carlos Caceres-Peguero from the Dominican Republic, convicted for trafficking fentanyl in Essex County, Massachusetts; and Isaiah Alexander from Jamaica, previously convicted for assault in Albion, New York.

DHS continues to encourage Americans interested in supporting homeland security efforts to consider careers with ICE.
