The National Farmers Union, R-CALF USA, and four individual ranchers filed a class action lawsuit in 2019 alleging anticompetitive practices by major beef processors JBS, Tyson, Cargill, and National Beef. The case led to a preliminary approval of an $83.5 million settlement with JBS on February 20, 2025.

Attorneys will provide a detailed overview of the lawsuit and settlement in an upcoming webinar. The session will cover recent developments, eligibility requirements for claimants, and offer participants the opportunity to ask questions about the process.

Cattle feeders and futures traders who believe they are eligible can submit claims through the official settlement website at www.CattleAntitrustSettlement.com. The deadline for filing claims is September 15, 2025.

"Join us for an exclusive webinar where experienced attorneys will break down the key details of the cattle lawsuit and the $83.5 million settlement with JBS. Hear the latest developments, learn if you’re eligible, and get a chance to ask questions."
