U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport recently held a three-day Global Entry mobile enrollment event at Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City. The event, which took place last week, resulted in nearly 700 new enrollments in the Global Entry program.
Global Entry is part of CBP’s Trusted Traveler Programs, designed to speed up the arrival process for pre-approved, low-risk travelers. Participants in Global Entry receive expedited clearance when entering the United States, which reduces wait times and increases efficiency at ports of entry.
The partnership between CBP and Will Rogers International Airport was aimed at making travel more convenient for U.S. citizens while maintaining security standards. Jayson P. Ahern, Port Director for the Area Port of Dallas, said, “We are proud to partner with Will Rogers World Airport to bring the Global Entry Mobile Enrollment Event to Oklahoma City. This event underscores the importance of shared cooperation in delivering innovative solutions that enhance the traveler experience while maintaining the highest standards of security.”
CBP has stated it will continue to use technology and partnerships to make its programs more efficient. The outcome of this event shows the agency’s ongoing efforts to provide secure and convenient travel options for U.S. citizens.
