U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will hold a Global Entry enrollment event at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport from September 7 to 13. The in-person interviews will take place at the Global Entry Enrollment Center on the lower level of Terminal 5, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Only applicants who have received conditional approval for the Global Entry program are eligible to schedule an interview during this event. Those interested must log into their Trusted Traveler account and select “Schedule Interview” to book an appointment.

Global Entry is one of four Trusted Traveler programs managed by the Department of Homeland Security. It offers expedited screening for pre-approved travelers, enhances security through more efficient processes, and supports legitimate trade and travel. The program currently has over 10 million members and is available at land, air, and seaports of entry across the United States as well as at Preclearance locations internationally.

Members of Global Entry also gain access to TSA PreCheck, which provides faster security screening for domestic flights at participating U.S. airports. All applicants must undergo comprehensive background checks and complete an in-person interview before being enrolled in any Trusted Traveler program.

CBP encourages conditionally approved applicants to consider using its Enrollment on Arrival process, which allows them to complete their required interviews upon returning from international travel at participating airports without needing a scheduled appointment.

“U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is America's frontline: the nation's largest law enforcement organization and the world's first unified border management agency. The 65,000+ men and women of CBP protect America on the ground, in the air, and on the seas. We enforce safe, lawful travel and trade and ensure our country's economic prosperity. We enhance the nation's security through innovation, intelligence, collaboration, and trust.”
