U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers conducted a nationwide operation on Friday, September 5, targeting individuals identified as dangerous criminal illegal aliens in several major cities. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), these actions align with directives from President Trump and Under Secretary Noem.

A DHS spokesperson stated, “While Americans were enjoying their Friday night, ICE was hard at work arresting criminal illegal aliens across the country including in Houston, New York City, Salt Lake City, San Diego, and Atlanta. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, nowhere is a safe haven for criminal illegal aliens. If you come to our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you, arrest you, deport you, and you will never return.”

Among those arrested during the operation were:

- Hossein Sharifi, a 67-year-old Iranian citizen convicted of statutory rape, aggravated child molestation, trafficking a person for labor servitude and marijuana possession in Atlanta.

- Minh Phan, a 55-year-old Vietnamese citizen convicted of first-degree murder in San Diego.

- Adam Ahmed, a 41-year-old Sudanese citizen convicted of attempted forcible sex abuse in Salt Lake City.

- Eliseo Perez-Esquivel, a 33-year-old Guatemalan citizen convicted of rape in New York.

- Agustin Martinez Jr., a 39-year-old Mexican citizen convicted of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in Dallas County.

The arrests are part of ongoing efforts by ICE to remove individuals deemed threats due to serious criminal convictions from communities across the United States.
