United States District Judge Marilyn J. Horan handed down the sentence following Williams' conviction for conspiring to distribute and possessing with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine. Court documents indicate that between March 2024 and July 2024, Williams acted as a redistributor of street-level quantities of these controlled substances.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Katherine C. Jordan and Kelly M. Locher.
Acting United States Attorney Rivetti recognized the Federal Bureau of Investigation for its role in investigating the case. "Acting United States Attorney Rivetti commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Williams."
This prosecution is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigation, which targets high-level drug traffickers, money launderers, gangs, and transnational criminal organizations through collaboration among federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
