Deputy Secretary Landau met with Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, the Holy See’s Secretary for Relations with States, in New York. The meeting focused on reaffirming the partnership between the United States and the Holy See. Deputy Secretary Landau thanked the Holy See for its efforts to promote stability in areas affected by conflict and discussed opportunities for further cooperation.
The meeting took place during a period when international leaders are gathered in New York for high-level discussions.
