Senate HELP Committee schedules hearing for labor-related Trump administration nominees

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to consider three nominees from the Trump administration for key positions at the National Labor Relations Board and the Department of Labor.

The nominees under consideration are Scott Mayer and James Murphy for membership on the National Labor Relations Board, and Rosario Palmieri for Assistant Secretary of Labor for Policy. The hearing will take place at 10:00 AM Eastern Time in Room 430 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

Members of the press who wish to attend in person are asked to RSVP through their respective press galleries. The hearing will also be available for live viewing online.
