The National Association of REALTORS (NAR) has announced the 10 finalists for its 2025 Good Neighbor Awards, which recognize members who have made significant contributions to their communities through volunteer work. Now in its 26th year, the awards program has honored 260 real estate agents across 44 states, Puerto Rico, and 17 countries.
"Each of these finalists reminds us that the heart of real estate is people and communities," said NAR President Kevin Sears. "Their efforts go far beyond helping clients buy or sell a home. They are building hope, opportunity and stronger communities every single day."
A panel of judges will select five winners from the group, each receiving a $10,000 grant for their chosen charity as well as national media exposure. Five additional honorable mentions will receive $2,500 grants. The public can also participate by voting online for a Web Choice Favorite between October 7 and November 6 at realtor.com/goodneighbor. The finalist with the most votes will secure an extra $2,500 for their charity; second- and third-place finishers will each get $1,250. Both sets of winners will be announced on November 10.
This year’s finalists include:
- Brian Boven (Rockford, MI), who helped establish Homes Giving Hope to provide independent living opportunities for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Cindy Bradley (Knoxville, TN), founder of Sacred Ground Hospice House, which offers end-of-life care in a supportive environment.
