The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has named David Jenkins as its new Vice President of Finance, according to an announcement made on October 14, 2025.
Eric Fanning, AIA President and CEO, commented on the appointment: “David Jenkins brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit and corporate finance that will be pivotal to AIA’s continued growth. His appointment as Vice President of Finance underscores our commitment to operational excellence and strategic advancement, and we’re excited to welcome his leadership to our already stellar team.”
Jenkins has held leadership roles in various mission-driven organizations and education-focused institutions. His previous positions include chief financial officer at the Society for Science and The Climate Reality Project. He has also served in senior finance roles at Stride Learning, Albany Charter School Network, and Imagine Schools.
Jenkins holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of South Carolina. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Information Technology Professional, and has earned a Certificate in Association Management from the American Society of Association Executives.
