On October 15, 2025, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported several individuals from the United States to Venezuela, including members of the Tren de Aragua gang, individuals convicted of sexual offenses, violent crimes, and theft. The deportation is part of ongoing efforts by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to remove individuals deemed threats to public safety.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated, “These monsters, including confirmed Tren de Aragua gang members, sexual predators, and violent thugs, should have never been in our country in the first place. Thanks to the brave men and women of ICE law enforcement, these public safety threats are out of the country and no longer pose a threat to Americans. President Trump and Secretary Noem will not allow criminal illegal aliens to victimize Americans. Under their leadership, more than two million illegal aliens have left the U.S.”

The individuals deported include Jefferson Bracho Haddad, identified as a member of the Tren de Aragua gang with six criminal arrests, including larceny and drug possession; Angelo Dennis-Jesus Ainaga-Jaspe, also linked to the gang and convicted of a weapons offense; Diego Alejandro Mavarez Arocha, convicted of sexual assault; Jose Gregorio Rios Rios, convicted of two counts of felony assault; Jorge Luis Rodriguez Yepez, convicted of assault; Carlos Alberto Valbuena-Chirinos, with charges for burglary; and Nadiuska Saray Rodriguez-Ochoa, who faces a pending charge for aggravated assault with a weapon and has a conviction for shoplifting.

The DHS reports that, under the current administration, over two million individuals without legal status have departed the United States.
