Leah B. Foley United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts | Department of Justice

An Adams, Massachusetts resident has pleaded guilty in federal court to producing child sexual abuse material. Brian Warner, 38, admitted to one count of sexual exploitation of a child before U.S. District Court Judge Myong J. Joun on November 4, 2025. Sentencing is set for February 12, 2026.

Court documents state that between July and December 2016, Warner used coercion and other means to involve a minor in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of creating visual recordings.

The offense carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and could result in up to 30 years behind bars, along with lifetime supervised release and a fine up to $250,000.

"Acting United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and Michael Krol, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New England made the announcement. Assistant U.S. Attorney Caroline G. Merck of the Springfield Office is prosecuting the case."

This prosecution is part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative started by the Department of Justice in May 2006 to address child sexual exploitation and abuse across the country. The program brings together resources from federal, state, and local agencies to find and prosecute those who exploit children as well as help victims.
