A Fort Dodge man has pleaded guilty in federal court to charges related to the sexual exploitation of minors and the distribution of child pornography. Pry’Shayn Mosley, 20, entered his plea on November 12, 2025, in Sioux City.
According to information presented at the hearing, Mosley admitted that between May and October 2022 he enticed two minors under the age of 18 to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions. He also acknowledged possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material to others, including children.
During the investigation, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Mosley's residence. Authorities seized electronic devices as well as marijuana, drug distribution paraphernalia, cash, and two loaded firearms. While officers were present during the search, Mosley directed a juvenile at the scene to retrieve and attempt to discard a package containing cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl from another room. Officers intervened before evidence could be destroyed.
The child pornography created and distributed by Mosley included material that depicted sadistic or masochistic conduct.
Sentencing will take place before United States District Court Judge Leonard T. Strand after a presentence report is completed. Mosley remains in custody pending sentencing. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and up to 30 years’ imprisonment, along with a $250,000 fine and at least five years of supervised release following any incarceration.
