On November 19, 2025, the President signed H.R. 4405, known as the “Epstein Files Transparency Act,” into law. The legislation requires the Attorney General to release all documents and records held by the Department of Justice related to Jeffrey Epstein.
The new law aims to provide public access to government-held information concerning Epstein’s activities and investigations.
“The ‘Epstein Files Transparency Act’ requires the Attorney General to release all documents and records in possession of the Department of Justice relating to Jeffrey Epstein, and for other purposes,” according to a statement from the White House.
