U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced the recent arrest of several individuals described as serious criminal illegal aliens, including people convicted of crimes such as child pornography, gang activity, and murder.

According to ICE, about 70% of its arrests involve non-citizens who have been charged with or convicted of a crime in the United States.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated, “Every town is a border town because of 4 years of mass illegal migration into our country. Our ICE law enforcement officers are arresting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens in American communities. Just yesterday, ICE arrested child pornographers, MS-13 gang members, and murderers. We are thankful for our law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to remove these heinous criminals from our neighborhoods.”

Among those arrested were Francisco Luna-Tristan from Mexico, convicted of indecency with a child sexual contact in Kerr County, Texas; Hsa Mu Na from Thailand, convicted of producing, distributing, and possessing child pornography in Nebraska; David Diaz-Alvarado from El Salvador and identified as an MS-13 gang member, convicted of murder related to racketeering in Maryland; Kevin Damian Duhaney from Jamaica, convicted for firearm possession and attempted assault in New York; and Leonel Longoria-Aquirino from Mexico, convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Dallas.

ICE’s announcement comes amid ongoing national discussions about immigration enforcement policies.
