The Aviation Subcommittee, led by Chairman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX), has scheduled a hearing to review the status of the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) industry. The session will focus on how provisions from the Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization Act of 2024 are being implemented and examine related regulatory actions. The hearing will also address perspectives from both the AAM sector and state governments regarding modernization of air traffic control systems.
The hearing, titled “America Builds: The State of the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Industry,” is set for 10:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Room 2167 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
Witnesses scheduled to testify include Kyle Clark, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BETA Technologies; Tyler Painter, Chief Financial Officer of Wisk Aero; Robert Rose, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Reliable Robotics; and Gregory Pecoraro, President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of State Aviation Officials.
Chairman Nehls stated that more information about the hearing, including witness testimony and a link to the live webcast, will be posted as it becomes available.
