A woman from Battle Ground, Washington has admitted to participating in a drug trafficking conspiracy, according to an announcement by Acting United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom. Megan Farra, 39, pleaded guilty on December 2, 2025, in federal court in Rhode Island to one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances and one count of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.
Farra's sentencing is set for March 3, 2026. The final sentence will be determined by a federal district judge after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other legal factors.
Court documents state that Farra was involved in a network distributing drugs across the United States. The group operated under an overseas organization, receiving large shipments of pills from international sources. These pills were then repackaged into smaller amounts and sent by mail to buyers throughout the country. Participants were compensated for their roles in the operation. The conspiracy resulted in the importation and distribution of tens of thousands of pills containing schedule IV-controlled substances as well as non-controlled prescription medications.
Assistant United States Attorney Ronald R. Gendron is prosecuting the case. The investigation was conducted by the Food and Drug Administration Office of Criminal Investigations, the United States Postal Inspection Service, and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
