U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced the arrest of several individuals described as "worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens." Among those arrested is Jose Alfredo Uzeta, a Mexican national convicted in Harris County, Texas, for practicing dentistry without a license and indecent assault.

Local authorities report that Uzeta operated an unlicensed dental clinic for about 20 years. The operation came to light after a former patient accused him of inappropriate touching during a procedure.

“For 20 years, Uzeta preyed on vulnerable Americans, charging for dental procedures he had absolutely no business of performing. Worse, he sexually violated one of his patients who trusted him,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “In addition to this monster, ICE also arrested child predators, murderers, and violent assailants – ALL of them WILL be deported, never to return and harm another American AGAIN.”

Other arrests include Mahmoud Telfah from Jordan, convicted in Albuquerque, New Mexico for soliciting sex from what he believed was a 15-year-old minor—who was actually an undercover agent—and attempting sexual exploitation of children by prostitution. Hamidou Diallo from Mali was convicted of murder in New York City. Santos Guevara-Carrero from El Salvador was convicted of manslaughter in Mineola, New York. Marcos Leon-Sorto from Honduras was convicted in Olney, Texas for aggravated assault causing significant bodily injury and assaulting a peace officer or judge.

ICE stated that all individuals arrested will be deported following their convictions.
