Later that day, CBP detailed a specific arrest involving a Salvadoran citizen: "Our @USBPChiefBBT agents are dedicated to locating and arresting dangerous illegal aliens. This Salvadoran citizen is not only an illegal alien, but is also wanted for homicide and has MS-13 gang affiliations. Stopping at nothing keep our communities safe." The post was made on December 12, 2025.
The following day, on December 13, 2025, CBP reiterated its commitment to public safety with another message: "Securing our borders and keeping our communities safe."
CBP operates as the largest federal law enforcement agency of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), responsible for regulating and facilitating international trade, collecting import duties, and enforcing U.S. regulations regarding immigration and border security.
