On December 15, 2025, ICE issued an alert about a fugitive wanted for multiple child exploitation offenses. The agency stated: "CHILD SEX PREDATOR Last seen in Chicago, Mexican fugitive Ricardo Vega is wanted for several offenses connected to sexually exploiting children, including:

• Child sexual abuse material possession and distribution

• Sex offenses against children

• Sextortion

The following day, December 16, 2025, ICE addressed claims circulating about the arrest of Ms. Tincher in relation to recording officers. The agency clarified: "David Bier, the Cato Institute Director of Immigration Studies, is at it again.

Ms. Tincher was not arrested for recording ICE officers.

Secretary Noem has been clear: If you lay a hand on a law enforcement, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Later that same day, ICE announced the sentencing of Diego Barron-Esquivel for assaulting an officer earlier in the year. According to their post: "20 YEARS FOR ASSAULTING AN @ICEGOV OFFICER

On Feb. 28, Mexican national illegal alien Diego Barron-Esquivel violently assaulted and strangled an ICE officer in Kansas. The officer is okay!

Today, he was given the maximum penalty allowed under statute.
