Executive Assistant Commissioner Diane J. Sabatino has used her social media platform to highlight the values and initiatives of the Office of Field Operations (OFO) within U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). In a series of posts made between December 16 and December 17, 2025, Sabatino emphasized teamwork, career opportunities, and consumer safety during the holiday season.
On December 16, Sabatino praised the OFO team's culture by stating, "The OFO team fosters a culture of teamwork, reflecting the nation it serves with strength and unity. Join our community where every voice is valued and teamwork is paramount." The post included an invitation for individuals to become part of this community.
Later that day, she encouraged followers to share information about careers at CBP: "By sharing CBP career opportunities, we encourage exploration of our mission. Sharing is caring, they say, so direct your friends and family to the CBP Careers page. We can help recruit the next generation of CBP professionals." The message was aimed at broadening awareness about employment possibilities within CBP.
On December 17, Sabatino addressed consumer safety amid holiday shopping: "Your gift shouldn’t come with hidden dangers. Counterfeit goods put people and businesses at risk. Choose authenticity this holiday season."
Sabatino's outreach reflects ongoing efforts by U.S. Customs and Border Protection to strengthen its workforce through recruitment drives as well as protect consumers from counterfeit products—issues that remain central to its mission throughout the year.
