In North Chesterfield, Virginia, officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Virginia State Police arrested Alis Deyvi Goris-Andujar, a 38-year-old citizen of the Dominican Republic. Authorities allege that Goris-Andujar was selling cocaine out of a local barbershop. The arrest took place on November 11 after a short foot chase.
Following his arrest, law enforcement searched Goris-Andujar’s residence and found two illegal firearms: an AR-type rifle and a pistol equipped with high-capacity magazines. ICE seized these weapons. Goris-Andujar was processed for immigration violations and given a notice to appear before a Justice Department immigration judge.
“Alis Deyvi Goris-Andujar's arrest shows the strength of cooperation with our federal and state law enforcement partners,” said ICE Washington, D.C. Field Office Director Robert Guadian. “Goris-Andujar represents a significant threat to our Virginia communities that will not be tolerated. He was unlawfully in possession of two firearms while allegedly selling poison in our community. We will continue to prioritize public safety by arresting and removing criminal alien offenders from Washington, D.C. and Virginia.”
Officials report that Goris-Andujar entered the United States illegally at an unknown date and location without inspection or authorization by immigration authorities.
He is expected to remain in ICE custody while removal proceedings are underway.
ICE encourages members of the public who have information about criminal alien activity to contact their tip line or use their online reporting form.
