The U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division has announced updates to improve compliance for contractors required to submit weekly payrolls under the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA). The updates include a new online, fillable version of Form WH-347, designed to streamline the reporting process for contractors and subcontractors. This form allows users to enter information directly, reducing common errors in payroll submissions.

Additionally, an annotated version of Form WH-347 has been developed to provide clear guidance on completing the form. These resources are now available on the department’s website for immediate use. "The Wage and Hour Division wants to help construction contractors and subcontractors succeed and comply with DBRA requirements," said Andrew Rogers, Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division. He encouraged government contractors to utilize these tools to enhance accuracy and consistency in reporting.

For further assistance, workers and employers can contact the division through its toll-free helpline at 866-4US-WAGE (487-9243). Contractors are also advised to use the agency’s compliance assistance toolkit for understanding their responsibilities under DBRA. More information about the Wage and Hour Division is available online, including a search tool for workers who believe they may be owed back wages.
