U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement highlights cases involving homicide convictions

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) published a series of posts on January 11, 2026, highlighting the criminal convictions and removal orders of several non-citizens from Mexico, Sudan, and Guatemala.

In one post, ICE stated: "Aldrin Guerrero Munoz of Mexico was convicted of HOMICIDE and ASSAULT. He has a final order of removal from 12/17/2015." The agency also posted about another individual: "Galuak Michael Rotgai, a criminal illegal alien from Sudan who’s been convicted of HOMICIDE and ASSAULT." A third post detailed the case of an individual from Guatemala: "Aler Gomez Lucas of Guatemala has been convicted of NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE WITH A VEHICLE and DUI. He has a final order of removal from 05/24/2022."

These posts reflect ICE's ongoing practice of publicly disclosing information about non-citizens with serious criminal convictions who are subject to final orders of removal. The agency is responsible for enforcing federal laws governing border control, customs, trade, and immigration to promote homeland security and public safety.
