U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will hold a recruitment event in Tampa, Florida, on January 13 and 14 for individuals interested in law enforcement positions within the agency. The event is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on January 13 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on January 14.
According to CBP, these careers offer rapid promotion opportunities, overtime pay, and recruitment and retention bonuses that can reach up to $60,000 for certain Border Patrol and CBP roles.
Applicants are encouraged to register ahead of time. Those attending will have the chance to ask questions, have recruiters review their resumes, and submit applications at the event. Details about the venue will be provided upon registration.
For those unable to attend in person, CBP is offering virtual options including a Marine Interdiction Agent Recruitment Webinar on January 21 and a Veteran and Military Spouse Recruitment Webinar on February 4.
