U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will hold a live recruitment webinar on February 10 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET to inform prospective applicants about Air and Marine Operations (AMO) careers, specifically the role of Air Interdiction Agent (AIA). The AIA position involves piloting aircraft for aerial surveillance and enforcement missions.

Those interested in attending can register online to hear from current agents about career paths, opportunities for rapid promotion, and details on recruitment and retention bonuses. CBP states that AMO law enforcement careers offer advancement opportunities as well as financial incentives. New hires may receive up to a $10,000 bonus after completing the academy with a one-year service commitment. Those selected for eligible Unmanned Aviation Systems or Caribbean Air and Marine Branch positions could qualify for an additional 25% retention incentive.

CBP is also organizing other webinars aimed at recruiting for law enforcement and mission-critical support roles. These include a Veteran and Military Spouse Recruitment Webinar on February 4, and a U.S. Border Patrol & Office of Field Operations Northern Border Recruitment Webinar on February 5.

For further information about working with CBP, individuals are encouraged to visit the CBP Careers website or follow CBPJobs on social media platforms such as X, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

According to CBP, it is the largest law enforcement organization in the United States and operates as the world’s first unified border management agency. The agency employs more than 67,000 people who work across land, air, and sea domains to enforce safe travel and trade while supporting national economic security.
