The article highlights that she found healing through faith and now serves as a pro-life speaker and author of "Redeemed: My Journey after Abortion." It also mentions her involvement in educating youth about relationships and the impacts of abortion.
The Charlotte Lozier Institute reported a total of 32,946 abortions in Pennsylvania in 2024, marking a 7 percent decrease from the previous year. Drug-induced abortions saw an 8 percent decline, constituting 56 percent of the total. The institute noted that abortions among Pennsylvania residents decreased by 6 percent, while those involving out-of-state residents dropped by 13 percent.
The Society of Family Planning said that there were 591,770 abortions across the United States during the first half of 2025. The monthly average number of abortions increased from 79,600 in 2022 to 98,800 in 2025. The organization reported that abortion volume has risen since the Dobbs decision.
