A Muskogee resident has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges involving methamphetamine distribution and possession. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Drew Alexander Ragsdale, also known as Drew Alexander Ragsdale-Smith, Drew Down, and Skat, age 28, entered a guilty plea to two counts of Distribution of Methamphetamine and one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.
According to the indictment, Ragsdale distributed 5 grams or more of methamphetamine on February 4 and February 26, 2025. On March 4, 2025, he was found in possession of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Each distribution charge carries a potential sentence of five to forty years in prison and a fine up to $5 million. The possession with intent to distribute charge is punishable by a minimum of ten years in prison and up to a $10 million fine.
The investigation involved multiple agencies: the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Drug Enforcement Administration, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Muskogee Police Department.
“The Honorable D. Edward Snow, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.”
Sentencing will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge after consideration of federal guidelines and statutory factors. Ragsdale remains in custody pending sentencing.
