The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has introduced a new website to assist defense contractors and suppliers in meeting the Pentagon’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. The CMMC framework, which became active in November 2025, aims to strengthen cybersecurity and protect sensitive information across the defense industrial base.

AIA’s new CMMC Marketplace gives defense contractors and suppliers a clear, accessible way to understand the requirements and quickly find the tools and partners that can help them achieve compliance faster — strengthening both their competitiveness and our nation’s security.”
Since enforcement began, many companies—including small and midsized suppliers—have worked to align with CMMC as part of efforts with the Pentagon. As implementation continues throughout a complex supply chain, businesses are seeking practical resources for compliance while maintaining resilience.
The new marketplace is intended to help organizations move from understanding regulations to taking concrete steps toward meeting them. This effort supports AIA’s broader policy work within the industry.
