The U.S. Department of State has launched a pilot “concierge” service to help Pax Silica signatories acquire American-made artificial intelligence (AI) products more efficiently. The service will use the department’s network of about 270 diplomatic posts to assist partner nations and their industry leaders in obtaining power, cooling, software, and hardware needed for core AI infrastructure.
According to the State Department, this effort is intended to help maintain the United States’ competitive position in global AI development by providing logistical and consultative support to trusted partners. The program seeks to strengthen digital ties between the U.S. and countries that adhere to Pax Silica’s principles, which emphasize secure, transparent, and resilient supply chains.
A statement from the department explained: “The future of global security is not only about who has the fastest chips, but also who uses them within a technology architecture of trust. By offering this service and promoting cryptographic verification, the United States can ensure its partners lead the AI revolution using an end-to-end secure architecture, with American-made technology.”
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote trusted technology partnerships worldwide. Additional information can be found on the Pax Silica website.
