CBP AMO highlights enforcement successes and emergency response in recent social media posts

CBP AMO, the Air and Marine Operations division of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, shared updates on recent enforcement actions and emergency responses in a series of posts between February 17 and February 19, 2026.

On February 17, CBP AMO commended the efforts of its Fort Lauderdale Marine Unit and partner agencies in disrupting criminal activity. The agency stated, "Great work by our Fort Lauderdale Marine Unit and all federal agencies to shut down these transnational criminal organizations!"

The following day, CBP AMO highlighted a life-saving intervention by its Alpine Air Unit after a traffic accident involving a Border Patrol agent near Presidio, Texas. According to the post from February 18: " Life-Saving Response

Recently our Alpine Air Unit answered the call after a serious two-vehicle rollover crash involving a @USBPChiefBBT Border Patrol Agent near Presidio, TX. An AS350 crew with an AMO EMT onboard rapidly deployed, providing critical medical assistance".

On February 19, CBP AMO reiterated its ongoing commitment to national security, stating: "Our mission never stops as we Make America Safe Again! "
