In a message addressed to former President Donald Trump, ICE stated: "Our brave ICE officers and agents greatly appreciate you, your leadership and continued support, President @realDonaldTrump!" (March 25, 2026).
Later that day, ICE reported the sentencing of an individual from Togo with an extensive criminal record. The agency wrote: "A fraudster from Togo with a lengthy criminal history picked up five more years in prison and was ordered to pay $5.7M in restitution and preliminary forfeiture after pleading guilty March 20 to conspiracy to commit money laundering and aggravated identity theft. Gedeon" (March 25, 2026).
In another post on the same date, ICE highlighted cooperation between state authorities and federal immigration enforcement under the 287(g) program in Florida. The agency stated: "When states work with ICE to take murderers, predators, rapists, terrorists, cartel members and more OFF their streets, public safety greatly improves. Great work by all our 287(g) partners in the Sunshine State!" (March 25, 2026).
The referenced "287(g)" program allows designated state and local law enforcement officers to collaborate with ICE by performing certain immigration enforcement functions under federal supervision.
