Inmate reported missing from FCI Mendota satellite camp on March 22

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

The Bureau of Prisons announced on March 22 that Edgar Enriquez was discovered missing from the satellite camp adjacent to the Federal Correctional Institution Mendota in Mendota, California, at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Enriquez is described as a 38-year-old White Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 174 pounds. The United States Marshals Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other law enforcement agencies were notified following his disappearance. An internal investigation has been initiated.

According to the Bureau of Prisons, "Anyone with information about this individual should contact the United States Marshals Service at (559) 442-2800."

Enriquez was sentenced in the Southern District of California to an aggregate 109-month sentence for importation of cocaine, conspiracy to distribute heroin, conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and aiding and abetting.
