First Lady Melania Trump previewed the upcoming White House Easter Egg Roll on Apr. 3, announcing an expanded lineup of activities for the event scheduled on April 6, 2026. The celebration will take place on the South Lawn and is set to mark both Easter and America’s 250th birthday.

The event will feature traditional activities such as the Egg Roll and Egg Hunt, as well as a sensory-friendly Egg Hunt. Real eggs for these events are being provided by the American Egg Board, which serves as a leading partner for this year’s festivities. The White House Historical Association has also contributed through public- and private-sector partnerships that aim to provide families with engaging activities and interactive experiences throughout the day.

The celebration will include live performances on the Bunny Hop Stage and featured readings at the Reading Nook. As families leave the South Lawn, each will receive an egg from the Official 2026 White House Easter Egg Set courtesy of the White House Historical Association. These commemorative eggs are imprinted with signatures from President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

Approximately 500 volunteers are supporting this year’s event, helping ensure that children and their families have a memorable experience.
