On April 13, CBP posted on X about their ongoing efforts in Atlanta: "CBP Officers in Atlanta have seized hundreds of thousands of dollars of outbound unreported cash so far this year. The following day, on April 14, CBP detailed a narcotics seizure at the San Ysidro Port of Entry: "A Sticky Situation for this Smuggler! CBP Officers at the San Ysidro Port of Entry were processing a pedestrian crosser when they discovered something taped to his body. CBP is responsible for securing U.S. borders against illegal activities such as smuggling drugs or undeclared cash. The agency regularly conducts inspections at land border crossings and airports to enforce customs regulations and prevent illicit trafficking.
