On April 15, Banks reported an arrest involving a Mexican national in collaboration with Midland Police Department. He wrote: "One less sex offender walking our streets! USBP assisted Midland PD identify a Mexican national - what they uncovered wasn’t just an immigration violation. Check out his disturbing criminal record: • Sexual Assault / Child – Pattern of Abuse • Failure to Stop & Render Aid" (April 15, 2026).
The following day, Banks described the disruption of a human smuggling operation in Laredo, Texas. According to his post: "Disrupted Human Smuggling Scheme! A U.S. citizen and a Mexican national were caught running a human smuggling operation out of an apartment in Laredo, TX, harboring two illegal aliens at the time of their arrest. The smugglers are facing alien smuggling charges, and the illegal" (April 16, 2026).
Later on April 16, Banks highlighted another incident involving gang activity at the border near California’s Imperial Sand Dunes: "A self-proclaimed member of the notorious Sureños gang was intercepted while attempting to illegally enter the U.S. near the California Imperial Sand Dunes. The Mexican national has a significant history of criminal activity and previous immigration violations, and he is" (April 16, 2026).
These incidents reflect ongoing efforts by federal and local agencies to address border security concerns along the U.S.-Mexico border.
