Defendant pleads guilty to assault resulting in serious bodily injury in Oklahoma

Christopher Bradley Gonzales, also known as Christopher Bradley Robison, pleaded guilty on Apr. 13 to one count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury in Indian Country, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. The charge carries a maximum penalty of ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

The case concerns an incident that occurred on June 21, 2025, when Gonzales assaulted a victim in Pontotoc County within the boundaries of the Chickasaw Nation Reservation. The crime was investigated by the Ada Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Magistrate Judge Gerald L. Jackson accepted Gonzales's plea and ordered a presentence investigation report. Sentencing will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge after consideration of federal guidelines and statutory factors. Until sentencing is complete, Gonzales will remain in custody with the United States Marshals Service.
