We R Nuts announced on Apr. 27 a recall of 254 containers of Uncle Giuseppe’s branded milk chocolate bridge mix due to undeclared milk, soy, and cashews. The company said people with allergies or severe sensitivities to these ingredients could face serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume the product.

The recall affects products distributed in New York and New Jersey through Uncle Giuseppe's retail stores. The affected items are packaged in clear rectangular 11-ounce tamper-resistant plastic containers with sell-by dates ranging from September 4, 2026 to November 6, 2026. Each package is labeled as distributed by We R Nuts.

According to the company, the issue was discovered during an inspection that found a discrepancy in the ingredient list on the label. "Once We R Nuts Management was made aware of the allergens missing from our ingredient label, we started a formal recall," the statement said.

No injuries or illnesses related to this recall have been reported so far. Customers who have allergies to milk, soy, or cashews are advised to dispose of any affected product they may have and return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.

Consumers seeking more information can contact We R Nuts at (516)705-0800 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
