Second Nature Brands announced on May 2 that it is recalling certain 10-ounce packages of Second Nature Keto Crunch Smart Mix due to the presence of undeclared cashews, pistachios, and cherries.

The recall affects consumers nationwide who may be allergic or sensitive to tree nuts or cherries. According to the company, individuals with allergies or severe sensitivities could face serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume the affected product.

The recalled product was distributed across the United States in retail stores and through online orders. It comes in a 10-ounce pouch with UPC 077034013405 and is marked with a “Best if used by 2/12/2027” date on the back. Packages with other best-by dates are not included in this recall. No illnesses have been reported so far related to this issue.

Second Nature Brands said the recall was initiated after discovering that some packages containing cashews, pistachios, and cherries did not list these ingredients on their labels. The company traced the problem to a temporary breakdown in its production and packaging processes. Consumers who purchased affected packages are advised not to eat them and can contact Second Nature Brands for a full refund.

The company said it is working quickly to correct the issue and prevent similar incidents in the future. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has been notified about this voluntary recall.
