U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced on May 7 that it arrested several criminal illegal aliens convicted of serious offenses, including aggravated sexual assault of a child, lewd acts with a minor, and robbery.

The arrests are part of ongoing efforts by ICE to remove individuals who have committed violent crimes from American communities. The agency highlighted the severity of the offenses involved in these recent cases.

"Each day, the NICE men and women of ICE risk their lives to remove criminal illegal aliens from American neighborhoods," said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. "Yesterday, ICE arrested multiple pedophiles, violent assailants, and robbers. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, ICE will NOT allow criminals to terrorize American citizens."

Among those arrested were Isaac Aquino-Zarate from Mexico, convicted for five counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child in Parker County, Texas; Lorenzo Tziquin-Tambriz from Mexico for lewd acts with a child under 14 in San Rafael, California; Heriberto Gonzalez-Patino from Mexico for arranging meetings with minors for sex in Santa Ana, California; Jeris Lopez-Urroz from Nicaragua for assault in Albany, New York; and Victor Figueiredo-De Araujo from Brazil for robbery causing serious bodily injury in Philadelphia.

ICE said that Americans can see more public safety threats arrested in their communities by visiting its webpage WOW.DHS.Gov.

The agency stated that it remains committed to prioritizing public safety through enforcement actions targeting individuals convicted of serious crimes.
