Alexander Nolasco-Hernandez, Ruben Marcos-Santiago, and Celedonio Plancarte-Perez pleaded guilty on July 15 to illegal reentry by a previously deported alien in Ocala, Florida. Each individual faces a maximum penalty of two years in federal prison. Sentencing dates have not yet been set, according to United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe.

Court documents show that Nolasco-Hernandez had previously been removed from the United States to Honduras twice. Marcos-Santiago was removed three times to Mexico, while Plancarte-Perez was removed twice to Mexico. All three were found voluntarily present in the Middle District of Florida in June 2026.

The cases were investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Enforcement and Removal Operations and are being prosecuted by Special Assistant United States Attorney Jerry M. Harre.

These prosecutions are part of Operation Take Back America, described as a nationwide initiative that uses the full resources of the Department of Justice with goals including repelling illegal immigration, eliminating cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protecting communities from violent crime perpetrators.
