In a post published at 01:05 UTC, ICE stated, “We lodged a detainer for a Ukrainian semi-truck driver who caused a fatal multiple vehicle crash that killed two people in Grove Hill, Alabama. Andrii Dmyterko was sentenced to only two years in prison for criminally negligent homicide. He was allowed into the U.S. and granted”.
Later that day at 13:05 UTC, ICE reported another action: “ICE picked up Constantine Joseph, a Canadian citizen who was born in Greece, upon his release from the Jefferson Correctional Institution in Florida. He had just finished serving time for fraud, drug possession, burglary and racketeering. When prisons work with ICE, criminal”.
At 16:05 UTC on July 27, ICE announced the deportation of an alleged cartel member: “ICE @ERODallas handed alleged Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel hitman and high-level oil thief David ‘El Ocra’ Vargas-Rivera to Mexican authorities July 14 to face murder charges. We deported the international fugitive just two days after his Jan. 12 arrest in Frisco, Texas.”
