U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) posted a series of updates on its official Twitter account between July 17 and July 18, 2026, highlighting recent enforcement actions and agency activities.

On July 17, ICE announced the arrest of Jose Jairo Rivas-Santiago, described as a Honduran national and suspected MS-13 gang associate convicted of murder and armed robbery. The agency stated, “ICE arrested Jose Jairo Rivas-Santiago, a Honduran national and suspected MS-13 gang associate convicted of murder and armed robbery, upon his release from the Virginia Department of Corrections. In 2019, ICE @HSI_HQ special agents arrested Rivas-Santiago on charges of armed https://t.co/kc00ZXj9E3” (July 17, 2026).

The following day, ICE referenced current leadership in another post, “Under the leadership of @POTUS Trump and @SecMullinDHS, we’re preserving our GREAT NATION by removing ILLEGAL ALIENS every day, thanks to our @ICEgov PATRIOTS. https://t.co/sq3Mu5czmi” (July 18, 2026).
