A bipartisan delegation of U.S. Senators, led by Senator Jerry Moran and Senator Jeanne Shaheen, joined Aerospace Industries Association President and CEO Eric Fanning at the 2026 Farnborough International Air Show in the United Kingdom on July 20 to showcase the value of the American aerospace and defense industry to national security and economic prosperity.
Eric Fanning said, “With strong bipartisan support across Congress and the government, the United States continues to lead the world in aerospace innovation and the highest standards of safety. Our industry generates $1 trillion in sales, supports over 2.1 million highly skilled American workers, and reinforces our global competitiveness through the largest trade surplus of any manufacturing sector.
